Male or Female Candidate seeking admission to First Year B.Sc. Nursing course must have passed the Examination as listed below.

  • Passed in 12th class Science or 10+2 CBSE with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English) or equivalent with minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English and 40% marks in sme for cast student(SC,NT), Provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Wards of Defence Personal/Physically Handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.(40% in PCBE).
  • Students should be Appear MHT-CET / NEET / ASSO - CET
  • Minimum age: 17 Years.
  • Physical Fitness: Candidate should be medically fit.

Requirement for Admission,

All the columns in application form are to be filled by the candidates in their own handwriting.

The following certificates should be enclosed along with the application:

  • Mark list 10th & 12th examinations.
  • Passing certificate of 10th & 12th examinations.
  • Caste certificate.
  • Income certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Migration certificate from University/ Board
  • Birth certificate.
  • Leaving certificate.
  • Caste validity & Caste certificate. (if Applicable)
  • Non–Creamy layer certificate. (if applicable)
  • Gap certificate (if applicable).
  • Aadhar Card

Attendance, Progress and conduct

Minimum 80% of attendance is required in theory and 100% in practicals in each subject. Internal assessment will be conducted every three months (written test) including practical demonstration exam.

According to MUHS norm every student should get minimum 50% marks in all subjects to pass the exam for B.sc Nursing.

At the end of the course annual examinations will be conducted by the University as per MUHS norms.

Overall students’ progress report will be sent to the parents regularly.

Note :Medium of instruction is English; students are expected to have proficiency in English language (verbal as well as written).

Internal Assessment :will be conducted every three months (written test) including Practical demonstration exam.

University Examination :Examination are held in four parts at the end of each academic year (April/May). However, internal assessment is done continuously - throughout the academic session by conducting the tests, seminars assignment projects and other reports

Vacation :As per the calendar of events of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nasik.
